The main purpose of our trip in August was to bring power into all the buildings on the campus -- but we were also able to accomplish finish wiring in the new classrooms, installing vents in the gables, hanging chalkboards, patching drywall and some additional painting.

Gloria and her friends have fun while painting.

Here's a new gable vent and the cable running up to the junction box

Luc and Jose almost finished sending 124 feet of cable down 120 feet of flexible underground conduit.  Notice the bottle of cream rinse on the ground; this was occasionally injected into the conduit to help the cable slide more easily.

After running the cable up the side of the classrooms, we installed a  2x2 on either side and later capped it off with plywood

Here's the new Kindergarten playground that was installed in July.

The next few photos are of the Kindergarten classroom with fresh paint and storage and things beginning to be set up.

Of course -- the big playground continues to be a big hit.
Some of the old desks will continue their service until more new ones can be found and delivered.

Our new friend, Misael, hard at work mixing 'mud' to cover over the cable.
